Accountability

Accountability is one of the core values of CAMA Woodlands. To ensure our long term care home meets required standards, we must sign a Long Term Care Home Service Accountability Agreement (LSAA) and Declaration of Compliance (DC) with our Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).

Our current agreement is for the service period of April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024. The full accountability agreement can be found here.

Quality Improvement

The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care uses the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) as an enabler to support system-wide quality improvement. In providing a common set of guidance materials and supports, organizations are facilitated in their efforts to develop a QIP under the umbrella of this common provincial vision to harmonize efforts to improve quality of care across the health care system. You can find CAMA’s 2024/2025 Quality Improvement Initiative Report here.

Visitors at CAMA

CAMA Woodlands will implement all required measures for visits in the Home to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all staff and residents, while also balancing the need to ensure that residents receive the support that they need from outside of the Home. The current version of our home’s visitor policy can be found here.

Emergency Preparedness

An Emergency Preparedness Manual shall be maintained for the information of all staff and others who would be involved if a disaster involved CAMA Woodlands Nursing Home or others in the community. Please find our home’s current version of our emergency plans here.
